(n.) Purpose in life. The eternal law of the cosmos, inherent in the very nature of things.
(n.) A community linked by its ideas, customs & social behaviour.
Dharma has many translations, one of which is simplified as "purpose in life". This might seem grand, but really our life purpose lies in that which we are both passionate and curious about. I have found the subtle practices of yoga, such as pranayama, asana and meditation, to be a simple yet effective way of reconnecting to passion and curiosity. I have also seen that when yoga is practiced with a diverse collective of people, a tribe, it invites new inspiration and understanding, which can lead us towards, and help us fulfil, whatever our purpose in life may be.
